Another exclusive service offered by Engineered Lining Systems, is the rehabilitation of manholes, catch basins, and lift stations, using an epoxy coating system.

The process starts by proper surface preparation. We use water blasting, as well as mechanical and chemical cleaning of all the surfaces. After the surface has been cleaned and inspected, any areas that need it will be repaired or patched prior to the coating application.

Once the surface is ready, a two part 100% solid epoxy coating is sprayed onto the surface at a predetermined thickness. This coating is allowed to cure for about 2 to 6 hours.

We then make a final visual inspection and also use a high voltage holiday detection system, to make sure there are no blisters or pinholes, before the surface is returned to service.

The end result is a very durable and long lasting surface.

  • Surface is cleaned via water blasting, and chemical process
  • Two part 100% solid epoxy coating is sprayed on
  • Surface will cure and be ready in just a few hours
  • Final inspection is done using a holiday detection system
